NC General Statutes - Chapter 116 Article 5C
The Commission prioritizes the selection of programs with a proven track record of preparing principals who drive student achievement, ensure graduates secure leadership roles in eligible schools, and focus on serving high-need schools and districts. Additionally, preference is given to programs serving areas with limited access to principal preparation programs or where existing programs fail to meet demand.
Recognizing the power of collaboration, programs should not only demonstrate success but also commit to sharing lessons and practices through structured opportunities to help other entities build capacity and achieve similar outcomes.
